Design Guidelines & Print Specifications

Everything our press and fabrication floor needs from your design team — accepted file formats, colour mode, resolution, bleed and safe area for every product category we run in Kolkata. Send files that follow these specs and we skip straight to proofing.

General artwork rules

  • Send print-ready PDF/X-1a wherever possible — it locks fonts, colour and transparency.
  • Convert every font to outlines/curves before sending, or attach the font files.
  • Build all print artwork in CMYK. RGB files are converted by us and colour can shift.
  • Embed images at their native size; do not enlarge low-resolution web images.
  • Keep total ink coverage under 300% for offset stationery to avoid set-off.
  • Name files as Company_Product_Size_v1.pdf so revisions are never mixed up.
  • Anything above 100 MB should be shared as a Drive/WeTransfer link on WhatsApp.
  • We send a digital proof before production — approval on that proof is final.

Architectural & Frosted Glass Films

10 mm on all sides for full-pane coverage

25 mm from glass edge and 40 mm from any handle/patch fitting
Supply scale
Supply at 1:1, or 1:10 clearly labelled
  • • Mark door handles, hinges, patch fittings and glass joint lines on the layout.
  • • Frosted band heights are usually 900–1500 mm from finished floor level.
  • • White ink is a separate layer — name it 'WHITE' and set to overprint.
  • • Minimum cut-vinyl stroke weight: 1.5 mm.

Acrylic, LED & Metal Signage

  • • Separate layers for CUT, ENGRAVE and LED positions.
  • • Minimum acrylic letter stroke: 8 mm; minimum SS stroke: 10 mm.
  • • Provide overall board size, mounting height and power point location.
  • • Backlit letters need a minimum 40 mm depth for even light spread.

Custom Wallpaper & HP Latex Wall Graphics

  • • Send the exact wall width × height in feet or mm after measurement.
  • • Mark switchboards, AC units and door openings on a reference photo.
  • • Panels are split at 48–54 inch width — avoid faces at seam positions.
  • • Dark solid colours may show slight banding across panel joins.

Vinyl Cut-Outs, Stickers & Radium Print

  • • Add a spot colour swatch named 'CutContour' set to overprint for die-cut shapes.
  • • Minimum cut detail: 2 mm; thinner strokes tear during weeding.
  • • Reflective radium artwork should use bold shapes and high-contrast lettering.
  • • Round corners to at least 2 mm radius for longer sticker life.

Canvas Photo Frames

  • • Use the original camera file where possible; social-media copies may be too small.
  • • Allow extra image around all edges for the canvas wrap.
  • • We send a crop preview before printing and stretching.
  • • Ask for a gallery-wall layout when ordering multiple coordinated frames.

DTF Printing Services

1:1 with print size written in cm
  • • Embroidery needs simplified artwork — minimum text height 6 mm.
  • • Avoid gradients on screen print; each colour is a separate screen.
  • • White garments do not need a white underbase; dark garments do.
  • • Send front, back and sleeve placements as separate files.

Laser Cutting, Engraving & 3D Printing

  • • Close all paths and remove duplicate/overlapping lines.
  • • Set stroke weight to 0.01 mm hairline for cut lines.
  • • Kerf allowance is 0.15–0.25 mm — adjust slot-fit joints accordingly.
  • • For 3D prints, state material, infill % and whether the part is functional.
